| | WTF : It fell from the sky! < on 12/30/2007 3:29 AM >
| | | Driving around in voidsville, my keen eyes spotted this banged up relic, which must have fallen from the sky from the Apollo era. Although it was long abandoned, it was much easier to visit then the great Florida door which has the *other* great, forgotten NASA rocket. Its amazing how DIY and low key these spaceships seem by todays standards.

| | | I dont think it fell from the sky; if it did, it would be a lot more banged up. I'm thinking it might have fell into the ocean from a space craft and was towed in.

| | | I understand that NASA regularly used hoppers as impromptu space capsules in the early days of the space program.

Myelin.. Totally OT ; what ever happened to Dave Allen? I loved that guy. I can't imagine a TV show today that would allow the host to sit and take a slug of whisky from a glass while doing a monologue.

| | | That's the new Ares 5 rocket that will be used in the leap to Mars program. It is a space shuttle main tank derived rocket. Really you people should know this by now. I mean it's in Wikipedia. About 2 of them drop out of the sky each week. In other news there is a rumor going around that water is known to drop out of the sky in some parts of of the planet. But not in California.
Caution! This user is a wise ass and may use sarcasm. Is my back pack good enough for UERing? |

| | | fucking awesome... when i first saw it i totally believed it was some piece of a test rocket or something... obviously didn't fall from the sky but neither did that rocket past the florida door. Though i'm beginning to think that was maybe just an irrigation pump.

That third shot, wow. It must be great to have random bits of space junk land in a village and miss all the houses. I bet that will be the topic for years. A story to tell the grand kiddies.
