My brother has a friend that was busted a few years back for posting photos of an active place he got into. Someone who worked for the company saw the photos and ratted him out. Its not a major cause for concern, but a good thing to be aware of.

i dont take and/or post pictures on here for that reason, well not some paranoid delusion, but rather cause i see no need. i [if need be] record the site with notes.. rarely. But to each his own i suppose.

Doesn't surprise me. But I have been told that there is no way that users on UER are causing damage, starting fires, tagging, vandalizing or stealing copper. So we're all good.

Actually they pay more attention to what you delete rather than what you download. Deleting suggests you're trying to hide something. And short of annihilating your harddrive with thermite, it is next to impossible to truly erase anything.
I think the best precaution to having security people on your ass is to pretty much use common sense.

No only is UER.ca being monitored 24/7/356.4 but there are files about you too. 
Actually you don't need tools like that to discover personal information about people. All you need is Google. I was able to discover the real names and addresses of several people here simply by using google and searching for their user names, then going from there. I am sure that LEOs (or police officers as my dad prefers) would have no issue finding out your personal details. I mean he warned me off of joining one UE group in Australia, the Tunnel Rats, due to the criminal records of its leader.
Then there are IP addresses. They can be easily tracked to you. Your IP address can be tracked back to an ISP and date stamped. From then it is a very easy matter to check who was using that unique IP address, when they logged on, logged off and what sites they visted. This is why I always surf via a private proxy my dad set up. This is why almost all of the 'personal' information I post here is false, and will continue to be false.
I can guarantee you, each and every one of you who accesses this site, that yes, both the RCMP and the FBI have your IP records on file, have everything you posted here on file, and for all of those in Canada, US, UK, Australia and NZ, they have your address on file too. This is a stead fast guarantee, not bullshit being made up.
My suggestion for the paranoid, get used to being under scrutiny. Like some have said, trespassing to take photographs is not high up on list of crimes to solve. But don't think for a moment that you have gone unnoticed.

For the record. Sure it's easy to get an IP. But do you know how HARD it is to get an ISP to give that information up in Canada and the United States. I have worked for 3 different ISPS.. 2 of them, the largest in North America.
It is like pulling teeth of ANY law official to get access to private records of ISPs customers. Without a warrant, it's not going to happen. And to be honest, they aren't going to waste their time and effort going after some people that enjoy exploring abandoned buildings and taking pictures. They have bigger fish to fry. YOU my friend are the paranoid one. MY GOD! Did your daddy build you a bunker and and make you a tinfoil hat while you surf with your Private Proxy. Your father is just as retarded as you if he thinks that he is ANY more secure using a Private Proxy! Wah ha ha ha! Don't stick the other foot in. For the record, with all your fake info, and even with your private proxy...if someone wanted to get your bad enough in the FBI they would have by now.
