anyway, sorry about that completely random comment- out here in central mass (leominster, fitchburg, gardner area) the locale is pretty "ethnic" and i know a handful of kids who claim to be in the latin kings and asian knights (lol @ asian knights). my friend is a cadet at a police academy and there are several neighbors that are known to have MS-13 members in fitchburg & gardner. he also told me that the providence mob collects protection money from some places in downtown.

well, its a painting by Alex Grey and he does a lot of album art for bands, Tool being the biggest one, he may have designed one using this painting for string cheese.. they are pretty good, i would approve, haha.

Ha ha ha! Excellent. The closest I ever came to running into a gang was a large, friendly (however stupid) group of high school kids. Ok, I guess that doesn't come close to an actual gang, but I can't imagine walking into some type of gang meeting or something. I'd undoubtably shit myself. Unless of course it was some kind of a middle school gang, in which case I'd laugh at them for being in a gang in middle school.

| | | When I was younger I ran into some jackasses with trucks while I was exploring the drains near my house. Got pretty roughed up. They were pissed because I wore a trenchcoat. (This was a year or two after columbine, I just liked my coat.)

| | | Happens quite often actually it is always good to have some sort of weapon on you to cause a little scare they are usually no problem after that. I usually carry a small Co2 handgun that I fixed to double the outputso to actually cause a small amout of bleeding for a nice effect people usually decide to backdown once you shoot them a few times lol or a good knife always works as well. as you can kind of tell im not a "usual UE" [last edit 1/13/2008 6:55 PM by SanzaRoux - edited 1 times]

| | | Woohoo for newark, we've got (real) crips, bloods, kings, ms13s, and all those other wonderful groups walking the streets.
But hanging out in abandoned buildings?? Not unless they're gang raping or hiding a body! Real gangs don't waste time tagging stupid shit, unless theres just a member who happens to like to tag in his spare time, you know, after he gets done slinging dope all day to further the gang's finances.

To tell truth man, whether it goes counter to doctrine, I would hope most people explore with at least one buddy. Don't want to be SOL or down in a hole with no one to help or call out for you, not to mention provide some backup in a tense situation.

-sigh- To quote Jimmy Urine, Stupid Mother Fuckers.. I used to get cat calls about shit like that, almost got my head smashed in with a hammer once, but thank god for CCTV cameras. Cant take the stupid out of people, no matter if there in a Gang or not. Anywho, Back on more topic... I normally tend to explore with my friend 99% of the time, not because of gangs in particular, but because if stupid people come id rather have a friend to help. Even if im with someone, my first chance im running [preferably with them o_o'].. not sticking around to see what weapons or numbers they may have. I may not be the most strong guy around but my body type lends itself well to hiding[Go skinny people!]. And lastly, Nope. Never seen "Gang" activity while exploring, and hope not to in the future..
