Exploration oppurtunity in Brockville!!

If anyone is at least familiar with Brockville, then they are well aware of the HUGE Plant located in the west end of Town. It is the Philips Cables plant, and preliminary work has begun for its demolition. This place is a sprawling facility taking up many acres in structure. I explored it a couple of years ago and was awestruck at it's size, unfortunately, i didn't get any pics. Lots of different wings, nooks and crannies and a pretty neat basement. Anyway, if anyone is interested in checking it out, it won't be there for much longer. This link has an old black and white pic of it, but it is roughly four time the size now! http://www.islandr...com/phones/ae.html

Hopefully someone gets to check it out before it is gone.

Btw, Brockville has a lot to explore, i will try and get some into the database.

I took a couple of shots of the place. I couldn't go exploring because i had my kids with me...shouldn't corrupt them quite yet!! This is only a SMALL portion of the building.

Those beans are cool. Too bad to hear the plant is undergoing demolition, if I lived anywhere near Brockville I'd definitely check it out.

Here's a lockpick. It might be handy if you, the master of unlocking, take it with you.

I'll have to check that out when I'm home for Xmas! I've been to the pumphouse in the past.

Another place that I've been interested in is the old train tunnel entrance over on tunnel street. I wonder if anyone's been in there recently! If I'm not mistaken, it's Canada's oldest tunnel.
