|  | | | This building has been sitting empty for a while. Last week I noticed that the wrecking crews were setting up.
Didn't know exactly what used to be here before going in. I came in near all the bins for the nickel baths. Right away i knew it was a place that used to do plating. I think the company was something like "Nora Ricci" or something like that. The name is on an awning out front.
They are in the middle of cleaning it out. Any sort of interesting artifacts are gone, but it is worth seeing if you are nearby. A funny little surprise was what used to be a nice 2 bed / 2 bath apartment on the 2nd floor.
I was in there for a while. I heard somebody come in the other end of the building and whistled. kinda like calling a dog sorta whistle. I figured since i was close to being done anyways, that was a good time to split.
I did swing by the Cadet Cleaners just up the road. It looks like all work has stopped there. They got most of it cleaned out, but not much has happened since we last talked about it here. I noticed that the condo sales office is gone too. Problems or delays? I didn't stick around too long. I went up a fire escape that led into a room i had been in last time, but on the other side. I dont know if all the clothes strewn about and giant human sized turds were there before, but it felt kinda hobo-ish, so I just headed out again.
