I'm assuming that this is the new server, in which case the DNS transferred insanely fast. Which DNS service do you use?

Damn Newbies.

I should mention that some DNS services provide a "quick" update. Krazy has utilized this feature in the past and he was able to get the DNS to update in literally 10 min.

that only works if the name servers don't change. since we'll be switching to a different name server, it'll take 1-3 days.

I don't know how that worked, but I was able to change my DNS settings for a domain and have it propogate within 10 or 15 minutes. I was using www.enom.com, but I have no explanation for why it was able to prop. so quickly, or if it actually made it out to "all" of the DNS servers on the internet or it was just because it was local or something.

We just did, last night/early this morning. However, UER won't be able to be accessed from UER.ca until sometime tomorrow. The current address is 66.207.162.54 . Just type that into the address bar and you're ready to go.

Well, apparently the DNS switch went pretty fast. Cause I'm already being redirected to the new server from www.uer.ca Basically same day, since early this morning it was still pointing to the old one. Nice stuff.
