| | | Yesterday I was able to join a small group getting a private tour of this building. I'm afraid my batteries were dying and the spares turned out to be dead as well so I couldn't use the flash and I got a lot of grainy and dark photos. I don't know how many photos of this place might already be posted elsewhere, but I hope you enjoy these ones. I hope to go on another trip to the building in the gorge next spring.
A beautiful sight, unlocked doors!
| Pillars out front
| Tiny tiles laid by hand
| Fireplace missing it's mantle
| Looking into the abyss
| Debris collected in hopes of restoration
| Steam rising up
| This room used to be mostly water, now it's been completely filled in
| Cool window
| I like the look of this
| Outside on the Falls side of the building
| Serious restoration needed here
| Back around to the front before leaving.

| | | Hey Hayashi, Thanks for sharing these, I've always driven by these buildings in the falls and wondered what the inside looked like, especially now after all of the work they have been doing. Thats awesome you were able to get a private tour, very cool! I've seen some of the older photos in the database, and it's incredible to see the difference in the place. Although ALOT has been changed and removed your photos still prove this is still an incredible building with some fantastic architecture. 1, 2, 7, 8, and 10 are my favorites of this series. Thanks for posting these, looking forward to seeing more of your work!

| | | Its sad that they cemented over the corridor that had all the water, but its good that they are restoring this place.
