Well these shots are actually from the two remaining buildings on campus. Though I'm not sure what they have planned for them. Probably nothing. Just like the rest of the place!

There's two buildings left? I thought everything was leveled.
Why was it leveled in the first place anyway?

Well, there are a total of 7 buildings left technically. Two of the old nurses' houses were turned into apartments. One nurses' house in the back of the campus is still there but fairly boring. There is also a male nurses' house that is slated to become apartments but is right next to an active DMH office. On the opposite side of the street is two remaining buildings that were part of the TB ward and a small welcome center.

The Kirk was leveled due to developer idiocy. The original plan was to save about 2/3 of the Kirk and turn it into mixed commercial and residential property. Somehow that got lost in translation and the entire thing got leveled and is not just an empty dirt field. Pisses me off.

Everything that was suggested for reuse on Hospital Hill has since been built elsewhere in Northampton so the hill has just sat empty. They turned everything under and walked away.
