I WILL KILL THIS MONKEY! I'M CRAZY!
| | | Re: Drinking and UE <Reply # 60 on 11/8/2007 3:51 PM >
| | | FUck the stupid ethics. It's fucking fun to explore while drinking. There's nothing better than exploring with a couple packs of Grain Belt beer. Sure, sometimes we get too drunk and bad things happen. Once, I almost fell off a roof of a big abandoned building. But I didn't, and I lived to tell the tale, so it's all good. Fun times. A couple pics from a recent exploration where we got super duper trashed. Fuckin fun:
So yeah. DOn't be a pussy. Be smart, for sure. But have fun, and don't be affraid to drink a few [dozen] cold ones.

Denim shorts seem to be all the rage among the alcoholic set. It is a chicken/egg scenario.

| | | Posted by yellow_wallpaper I don't think its a good idea. You need to have your common sense with you. Floors could be unsupported, cops could be around, walls might be ready to fall down, you could loose your 2-6...
|
but it would be SO FUN! :p

| | | Posted by langP It was always nice to hit a few beers after a successful day, to be sure. In most countries, I wouldn't want to have to sweet talk a pissed off cop or a security guard with booze on my breath. In Korea however, it would probably be considered justification. "Oh, is that alcohol on his breath? He didn't mean to enter this restricted area. . . he's just drunk. No problem." Then he'd probably ask how much I can drink. Bah, I've given up the liquor now anyway so whatever.
|
if you've had a drink or 2 and aren't completely drunk, but need to fake a high BAC (for any odd reason), spray a little binaca in your mouth. your BAC will be through the roof. learned that from my drug studies teacher. he said people who are drunk-driving will sometimes use it to cover the smell of alcohol on their breath, which is a big mistake if they need to take a breathalyzer test. now you know.

Actually I think that is a very good point. I always feel like curling up on a patient bed and going to sleep when I drink while exploring.

| | | Yea, it takes alot of energy to make weird gestures with your hands, lol. I have way more energy when intoxicated... I think it comes down to being an 'up' drunk or a 'down' drunk.

LOLs. I wonder what Slim Jim would think about people commenting on his denim shorts. For the record though, it was like a million degrees outside that day, with crushing humidity on top of that. Half the people in our group were wearing shorts. Even me:
Of course, I wear shorts all the time regardless of how it looks. And when you are underground, the temperature is comfortable for summer attire, even in the dead of winter. Yep. I wear shorts exploring underground even when it's a blizzard topside. But whatever. Looks like this topic got derailed already.
