I was by the place the other day and there were vehicles on the side of the building. I think it was a janitor to check the furnace or something like that. It looks locked up tight though, and the security system is always on.

Many schools, or at least the sd63 ones, have very good alarm systems. Probably because the buildings are filled with computers. The one that I got a good look at had a pstn autodialler, with analogue cellular backup, and UPS power. Also, some schools have security cameras with time lapse VTRs. Others have empty camera housings with wires running to them

You may have had an interesting opportunity, and may again. A place alarmed and recently abandoned, or difficult to enter without risk of B&E is unlikely worth the effort. Sure there are exceptions, it's just an in general opinion.

So now, with adrenaline pumped, and the place possibly unlocked with the alarm off, (trades people working inside) is your chance for a stealthy infil. If people start approaching, have a story, scurry like a bunny, or, lucky you, just pop in to a handy cupboard or overhead/undersink compartment. Good luck.

I would ask for vague clues to this building location, but won't because it's a public thread.

Thats what I was thinking. I don't have a lot of time right now, but I could monitor how long the vehicles stay there on average and sneak in if I can.

Its not necessarily recently abandoned... It closed a few years ago for various reasons, but knowing how badly property is needed in Victoria, I don't think it will be closed or standing for much longer.

"Three arrested in school break-in

Three youths were arrested late Saturday night after a break-in at the vacant School on ** Road.

Alarms were reported at the school about 10:45 p.m. When Saanich police arrived, they were met by private security officers who told them that a rear door had been pried open and the intruders were still inside the building.

The three suspects were caught as they tried to leave. They were charged with breaking-and-entering, and released to their families.

The school was closed in 2004. It was subsequently leased to École ** but has been vacant for about a year."

Not sure how to read this; first impression is that it's a mock up of what could likely happen. Kind of a warning or something. Second impression is that it's a mock up of what could likely happen. Third impression is that it's a mock up of what could likely happen.

Okay, okay, sorry didn't mean to overstate the point. Still trying to decifer what you are trying to say though. Regardless Darling; I vote you are invited to the next 'meeting'.

It looks like security is as tight as I thought it was, and poachers are eyeing it more closely. They want to turn it into 'low income housing' aka what they're trying to do with all the people kicked out of mental hospitals and the drug users. At least it won't be hard to explore the developement because they'll be drugged out of their minds.

Excellent. Now I can impregnate KublaKhan with my evil alien babiez- I mean... now I get to meet everyone! *girly giggle*
