If all your Pentax K mount lenses are old MF ones you can get an adapter to use them on your Rebel XT in stop-down mode. Should be pretty similar to using them on a K10D.

That sounds perfect, do you have any links or tutorials on how/what to do this?

Just a warning: It is WAY harder to manual focus on an APS-C sensor sized DSLR than a full frame DSLR or a 35mm film slr.

This site has some for sale and some info on using them.

Note, I've never tried their adapters and I'm not in any way affiliated with that site. It's just what I found with a quick Google search.

I have adapters for 42mm screwmount lenses, Nikkor lenses, and Leica R lenses on my EOS bodies.

The major caveat I'd give you about using something like that is that you can't get a split prism for any consumer DSLR (including the EOS 5D) so manual focus is tricky. I haven't tried the "better" focusing screen for MF on the 5D, but I've heard good things.
Anyway, unless you have insanely good eyes, manually focusing with the small viewfinder is difficult.
