| | Chicago Hilton < on 10/31/2007 10:55 PM >
| | | Here's some shots I took from the roof of the Hilton...where they filmed the end of The Fugitive. It's pretty cool up there; there's a helicopter pad and what remains of the original colonnade. The Conrad Hilton suite sits on top (from Home Alone 2) which is the most expensive hotel room in Chicago ($5000 per night!). Sorry for the crappiness of the pictures, I didn't hang around up there very long.

| | | thats my favorite movie. I assume this place is still active, but how hard is it to get up there? I'm coming to Chicago in a few weeks and looking for some places to check out.
40+ year olds with Myspace pages are not cool, they are pediphiles on the prowl. Buyer beware. |

| | | It was pretty easy to access for me, there were stairs going to the roof and the door was open. Not sure if that was just a temporary thing or what...seems like they would want to keep it locked. You would probably want to make it look like you were a guest in the hotel though. I love that movie as well, you can see a lot of the locations from the movie if you explore around.

| | | That's actually a different Hilton hotel about 6 blocks north of the Chicago Hilton. Interesting pictures though!

So it is, and I would have realized that if I re-read the text that went with the link I posted. Brain fart.

| | | Heh, I thought he was talking about the Palmer House as well until I saw the pics. Chicago Hilton's are popular! Looks like yours has a better view and is taller, nice pictures!
