I do a fair bit of exploring, and most all of it involves photography. What KK is saying here makes good sence, and i would heed his advice. I would also like to add, that booze is a must, as it enhances your stealth. It is essential to any exploration. Trust me.....all the good explorers do it!!

My reply to this post was harsh because she seems like she doesn't give a flying f*ck about the abandonment itself, but more so seemed to be bragging about how they got in. 'Breaking in' tells me they kicked down a door, busted a window or something of that nature. Sure thats how some of us better explorers out there find our way in, (after 'explorers' like this have been there) but it's also what makes the place look like shit after a few years. I'm sure they didn't bother putting things back the way they found them, either.
Personally, I would rather see an awesome abandonment UNTOUCHED and NEVER go inside than go inside an awesome abandonment thats been torn to shit by people like her that call themselves explorers. No amount of time with experienced explorers can change her ethical views or WHY her and her friends are breaking in. It was for the thrill of doing something dangerous and 'creepy' and thats it, plain and simple.
This is a message board, where people give their opinions. I realize trash talking, bashing people, etc are not welcome, however sharing ones opinion has never been an issue and shouldn't be an issue. My opinion of the original poster is that she is new, yes. (And I'm not usually one to bash new people... I'm usually the one that backs them up and gives them encouragement) However, she has had 7 days before being allowed to post in any thread and I feel she should know better than to openly admit HOW she got into the place, and she DEFINITELY should have known (from reading threads and posts for 7 days) that words like 'breaking into' and 'cutting the fence' are usually not welcome here on UER and things of this nature is frowned upon by most decent, respectable explorers.
