Why not make one for the people who are actually gay and comfortable with it and one for the supporters of gay people.

Good idea. It's get a little confusing otherwise...

Ya cause I'm not gay but I have friends at work who are gay and Exkalibur here. I think a Gay/Lesbian Friend star would be a good idea.

This is the most fun I've had in ages!!

I have to say I still think that the wolf's head has to do with the relationship you have with Avatar-X.

My wisdom has given me no insight to what it really means.

Well, you shouldn't expect any more in two minutes. Besides, I made them the colors of the star right now: red, yellow, and blue.

good lord! you all need to go out and explore something instead of arguing on and on about what stars there should be. I was fine with this until the gay star showed up. I don't have anything against gay people, but this forum is supposed to be about exploring. If we have to have a gay star, can't we have individual stars for religion, governmental system belief, and innie/outie? If you're goona go, you might as well go all out.

Actually, Krazy does have a point. Couldn’t we have some stars for drainers, active site explorers, abandoned building explorers, etc?

As for the wolf head, I just think it’s fun to watch everyone try to figure it out. I don’t know if anyone has already guessed this because it’s so obvious but it doesn’t have anything to do with people who believe or have shown interest in magic does it? I mean it does say “Magic Star – This is a magical star.”

Hey, Av:

As a practicing Wiccan for more than a decade, do I get a nice little pentagram by my name? And I'm sure the Jewish population here would like a star of david...

...and if we're going to get "GLBT-friendly" stars, can we have a little "LE-friendly" shield?

Yeah, but this star is unique. There are only three gay people out of over 2500 members on this board. I think that the current star should be for gays only, however it is really up to av.

What I was trying to say was this (I'll speak slowly and use small words this time):
stop dinking with unimportant tidbits of the forum and go out and crawl in sewers and bring back pictures so I can enjoy them

I agree, 100%. I have gay friends and i support them, but uh.. I also have Jewish friends and support them too. I don't see why the gay star is there.

Stealthy - there are other gay people here too. More than just three.

Alright, first of all, it's not a gay star, it's a PRIDE STAR.

It doesn't matter to me one way or another whether you have pride or not, but I figured that out of all the minorities and subcultures and whatnot, gay people have gotten dumped on a lot. People like Bush even have things against gays.

The star is just there for fun anyway, don't read too much into it.

The criteria for new stars should be things that indicate your seniority/wisdom as relating to UE / this site.

As for making a star for people who ARE gay... I don't want to single people out like that.

huskies - such fluff.

The current star has the full rainbow. If you only see red, yellow, and blue, you need to increase your color depth (to 32 bit)

*the buzzer sounds* Sorry, that is incorrect! I was almost certainly there, (At least, I'm almost positive I wasn't hallucinating!) and I do not have a wolf star. So I don't think so. And Great Bear wasn't there. So you people gotta keep looking.

And how about a trusted star Av? I'm not that bad a guy!
