| | | Every so often I check this one building... Hoping it might open up some time for me, as it's the only one on the site I haven't been in as yet. Tonight a few slats were missing from one of the vent louvres.... so... It wasn't quite as big or as grand as I had thought (amazed clinical autopsies were not performed here) but did have a lot of character and was well worth the quick climb / squeeze / wriggle inside involved. Some pics:
The Dead Bed in the COR.
D, dead. Judging by the amount of decomposition I'd say... she's faking!
The Slab - one of two. This would be a simple 'make-up and cosmetics' area for the ex-patients... Lack of drains, tools and sluice indicate a COR type mortuary only here.
The Chillers
One last look at that awesome (but damaged) Stained Glass. And that's it in a nutshell, full details on The System: http://www.turbozu...m/index.php?cat=31 Chris...
We all had ostriches. My dad had an ostrich farm! I remember one day someone came in and said the high altitude bombing of Kosovo had been a limited success, so we all went out and celebrated… by killing an ostrich and boiling it in kiwi fruit. |

| | | Glad you enjoyed it. I don't think I would have done. I think it would have creeped me out a little. What does COR stand for? Chris

| | | COR = Chapel Of Rest, a term which implies a mortuary only equipped to 'tidy up' the corpse a little for display; different to a clinical mortuary where autopsies are performed. There was a light in the fridge - and it works! Chris...
