Im going to visit a friend down there the weekend of the 2nd. We both like this stuff, although I dont think she is as into it as I am, and im wondering if anyone is willing to share some easy locations with us in the Baltimore area.

I think you would have gotten more serious replies if you said something like,
"I'm going to be in the Baltimore area with a friend. I am curious if I could meet any of the local explorers for lunch/dinner, coffee, and maybe a small exploration."

normally, yes, this would be an ideal way to approach the situation, however, i dont believe this particular situation would allow for such pleasantries.

west baltimore and east baltimore is where its at. once you start seeing burned out rowhouses you are going in the right direction to see cool stuff.
