I'm making my guess based on your "entrance" photo, as I've never been beyond that point. I don't know the specific history of the site, but I do know the Manleys were a prominent family in early 1900's history in the Greenville, SC area. My friend said on one excursion to the site he made some odd findings... a large green tower, possibly a water storage tank - and some kind of dome. This would have been 7+ years ago at least. If I'm right about the site's ID, Google Earth and other sat. data is worthless due to heavy tree cover. I'd be up for an excursion ot this site, if you're looking for a partner... The only thing left of it is some low walls that somewhat form rooms and possibly some old furniture, at least that's how it looked in the pictures. Did it burn down? I have no idea what happened to it. However the more you post and get involved the faster it will come. Meeting other members in person does help the process if you can do it. I waited for quite a while before asking for full membership, nearly a year, but it is different for every person. Posting pictures of places you have explored will give you good credibility and increase your chances of being approved.
