|  | | | driving around baltimore today we wanted to show a friend the lovely streets of Baltimore. we ended up coming here and noticed lots of machines and workers demolishing this place. its only about 10% gone so anyone who wants can get one last look. the places is boarded all up but a few ways in still are around.
we got in the machine room in the back, snapped a few pics and then realized all the workers had not left so we headed back out.
a sign on one of the doors says the demolition will be completed by the middle of november 2007 in case anybody cares.
40+ year olds with Myspace pages are not cool, they are pediphiles on the prowl. Buyer beware. |

Coppin is only in the early stages of putting together a master plan for the property but from what I hear orphan asylum is staying and they plan to make it a magnet school.

| | | | I saw a piece of paper with a timeline for demo, and it said UMD owned what was being demolished. I dont know about the rest of the buildings though. A small part of the complex was still being used as a clinic.
The newer eastern wing was just beginning to be worked on. I saw hoses being hauled up the crosswalk about the street and a lot of trucks removing what looked like asbestos filled trash bags.
The rosemont doctors clinic was also gone.

you can still go there for a short time. the workers leave at 4:00pm.

It is owned my the Univeristy System of MD probably. They manage all state universities.
This isn't boot camp and you are not a ninja. But you sure look like an idiot in that outfit.
