Any of our Missouri members know the Sugar Creek area by the Missouri River very well? I've been told there's an old school out there somewhere, and so far, after 5 trips down the back roads in the area, I haven't found squat. I know 3 people who say they've been there exploring there in their younger days, and they've all gave me similar directions, and so far, nothing(all they can say about this is "gee, I'm SURE that's the way to get there"). I know these people well enough to know they're not pulling my leg, and I've tried Google(nothing there), so I'm hoping one of ya'll might know something...In the meantime, I'll keep looking and if I find it, I'll post pictures(if my computer will let me)!

I was thinking about how people seem to read the Bible a whole lot more as they get older; then it dawned on me - they're cramming for their final exam...

Don't know much about it. You might try asking on my forum, though. Might be someone there who knows.

Well, the area I believe is technically considered Sugar Creek, it's off 291 Highway, seems more in the rural Independence area to me. I've found a interesting school in Independence I'm working on getting into, so I haven't been out in the area I'm told this other school is in a while, but I might try to get out that way this weekend.

Whoops, that was me before, not Fett. He was logged in on my laptop, and I didn't notice.
I'm going to keep poking around on that one, I'll PM you if I find anything.

I looked recently in one particular area and no luck, I've got a couple more places to check as soon as I get a day off!

It is possible that the building has been demolished since those people have been there. Still, there should be *some* evidence unless it was torn down long ago and rebuilt over or something.

OK, I know what you're talking about, but I thought it was still operating-have I missed something since I left that area. If it is abandoned, I need to head over there soon...
