Are you in a bar, building, or jail cell? / You have a freak flag. You just don't fly it.

Return to the farmhouse

I'm still passing this place on my way to work. I didn't take
any pics of the outside this time due to the fact that I rode
my bike. I'm including the pic from last time just so you can
put a "face" to the inside.

The Face

Nature is slowly forcing its way in

The magazine was for cow buyers. Note the "orb". Perhaps it's
Farmer Brown. (I kid you not that his last name was Brown,
I found cancelled checks from the mid 80's.)

The view from the upstairs hallway window.

Guess what the carpet "used" to look like? I moved something...

Woo hoo, I have a chair pic!

I kind of like the dark and light in this one.

This is the back of the house. There was metal on the floor, but someone
(not me) had forced it back.

Yes, we found Jesus in the back closet/bedroom.

More nature and UE...

Yeah, we really need to replace the couch!

Hallway anyone?

I actually went in the basement/cellar this time. It was a little
too much Blair Witch Project for my taste.

What's left of the kitchen and the door leading out to the back room.

Another attempt at crawlspace shot. I'll put the last one below it.

Previous trip:

The only upstairs bedroom. Attempts to roll down the shade
were failures. The circles make me think 55 gallon drums were
stored there.

This is where I was standing while talking to my mom on my cell phone. I was upstairs when she called and
had to go downstairs to get my backpack to answer it (like I was in my own house). Weird!

This is a piece of the wallpaper from the second floor hallway. I think it may have been used as a
nursery as it was just outside the bedroom.

The BIG barn which is probably still used as the land is being farmed.

In one of the little barns.

Let me in!

Not as happy with this. I sense a blur...

Another one where the light and shade seem to work.

Barn window

And lastly, the back of the face. (Head?)

“Somewhere the saving and putting away had to begin again and someone had to do the saving and the keeping, one way or another, in books, in records, in people’s heads, any way at all so long as it was safe, free from moths, silverfish, rust and dry-rot, and men with matches.”

Glad I'm not the only one who has done some rural stuff, love some of the pics. Use a tripod next time to get the stuff in the dark area in focus.
