Sorry, there are quite a few pics here. I took these when I was randomly walking downtown along the river front, and found a few boats either washed up on the shore, or half sunken in the river.

very nice, i like the log shimmy to get on the boat, but i agree, very sketchy walking around a half sunken boat. did you find these after a storm or something?

Hey all, thanks for the compliments, especially about the log shimmy. It was actually fun straddling that big piece of wood ;) Sorry couldn't help it. But actually the boat didn't move or anything like that when I was on. I guess it had already sunk to the bottom of the river. But I was lucky there was that log there, cuz there was NO WAY that I was gonna swim. That water is freaken filthy! I mean one bath a month is good enough for me. As for how long the boats have been there, I've been told about two years. Apparently there's some big lawsuit going on, and they're not allowed to be moved. Don't know the specifics. But it was fun.
