Does anyone have anything on this place? In the video above there seems to be a rediculous amount of ruins left around, but i found it niether in the database nor anywhere online...

Never heard of Port Essington specifically, but I have heard that there are old abandoned canneries and fishing villages all the way up the coast. Neat video, thanks for posting.

You can see a lot of abandonments when you take the ferries from Tsawwassen to Victoria all along the islands there, you just have to keep your eyes open. Of course you'll have to take a boat out to get there yourself unless your planning to jump off the ferries and swim

I make love the same way I resolve arguments. With my fists.

It happens. There's a story floating around, about a guy who jumped ship trying to commit suicide. He somehow survived in the icy waters, much longer than the estimated '20 minutes to live' suggested survival time.

He got caught in the currents and eventually was spotted in Active Pass. He lived, his name was BOB! True story.

Nice post and interesting link Az.

My sister is Charlotte Light and Dark. Who am I?

He wasn't planning to swim...
Heh, when I was on the ferries me and my friend called them the hobo huts rather then abandonments
