I haven't posted a set in a while since I have been mostly working on and posting the landscapes I took during my California trip at the beginning of the summer to my site. At any rate, I am now backed up to April with abandonment goodness, so I figured I'd dive back in to the decay with what is probably my favorite set that I've shot in the past year of one of my favorite places to explore.

This set is different from what I've been doing for a while in a lot of ways, so let me know what you think. It's been a while since I've gotten critique, so feel free to roast me good if you like!

Thanks for looking.

double crossed is fantastic.

seriously.

this is one of the best sets i've seen of this place.

everyone usually posts the SAME GODDAMN THING from here but your eye caught some great stuff. "ocean" is a terrific paint peel shot.

They are very nice. I didn't recognize the place at first because your shots aren't the usual

Some extremely nice shots you got here.

The first two are really BA, and the last one I've fallen in love with

Nice work

looking over this set again, i think your strongest shots are the ones w/ natural color rather than the ones w/ all the wacky post work.

Thanks, these are probably the best compliment I can get. A lot of the places I hit aren't new, and I hit them because I want to see all the cool stuff that others have seen...sometimes even passing up new stuff to do them. It doesn't bother me to hit places that are well known at all as long as I can come back with pictures that are different.

That's one of the things I wanted to know. I've found that some of the wacky post work can rescue shots that aren't terrific from the jump (my exteriors on this trip were crappy especially) so it's not surprising you say that. I'm on a kick with partial desaturation and then toning the partially desaturated images, but someone else actually told me recently more or less the same thing about my natural color stuff....so thats good to know.

Thanks. Nope...my GF asked the same thing. They're just normal color shots partially desaturated and toned with curves.
