| | | Just letting you know that the old refinery/Superfund site is very crowded and being torn down. I tried to find the last thread on it but cant seem to.

| | | Asbestos and refineries are like bread and butter; can't have one without the other
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in. |

| | | Well, if I know my asbestos and Im pretty sure I do, Id say thats Bolivian long strand premium cut, the smokeless variety. And its on the tanks, the pipes, the valves, inside pipe sheathing, outside everything else, and all over the ground and in the air when the wind is right. Anyone foolish enough to explore that place stirred up enough of those tiny little fibers just by walking through the weeds to choke a herd of elephants and may have lost any hope of having their mortal remains cremated when they croak because they are now 33% more fire proof than the average human! | | | Reminds me of a radio spot for an insurance company I heard a while back: Client: And we have fireproofing, too. Agent: Asbestos? Client: As-best-as could be expected.
J'ai toujours fait une prière à Dieu, qui est fort courte. La voici: "Mon Dieu, rendez nos ennemis bien ridicules!" Dieu m'a exaucé. |
