| | | UER really should become the "Urban Tourist Resource"!!!

| | | I actually was going around my apartment complex and happened to find a pretty big water runoff tunnel nearby. I located what i believe to be both ends on maps.live.com. Its pretty short though, only like 300 yards. theres also an 1843 schoolhouse just north of my apartments in the middle of a field. so im goin gto check that out too

| | | I went to purdue a few years back. I would recommend avoiding the steam tunnels.

| | | I'm here at Purdue as well. I'd say the closet thing of interest is Gary. There is a factory near 52 and 38 that I haven't checked out yet. But then I haven't look around too much.

| | | if you're interested in draining at all there is a pretty large water runoff that goes under the driving range at the golf course on Cherry Ln between McCormick and Northwestern. There is also another large drain about 1/4 mile south of downtown Lafayette. Sadly, I haven't yet found any buildings.... worth exploring in the area.

| | | Ok, I'll give you a clue. There's a building very worth exploring ON campus, and its been completely closed down for quite some time. It may even warn you to keep out. That's all you're getting from me. If you find it, please don't share with others... so it doesn't die!

| | | I was in Harrison last year, but now I'm in an apartment with three of my friends. --- Along with exploring, i like to ride bikes (the pedal kind), and I was out on a 40 mile ride with the Triathlon Club. I saw some pretty good sites while on the ride. One is on the SE corner of E River Rd and 500E, in riverside, IN (http://maps.live.c...lt=-1000&encType=1) Another is an abandoned house on the NW corner of the railroad tracks and S 700 West (http://maps.live.c...lt=-1000&encType=1)

| | | I have been wondering for quite some time if there are any ins to the old days in on hwy 43 as you go into town--it's been abandoned at least 3-4 years now maybe more.....I'm not quite bawlsy enough to check myself though. I've scoped out quite a few farmhouses outside of town that I have on my list to explore but nothing too exciting looking....

Bingo! Pretty sure I found it, looks pretty empty from the outside but haven't had a chance to take a look inside. I walk by it every day and I never noticed that it was abandoned.
