I didn't know about the fires or anything until this thread. I was really hoping to hit it. It doesn't sound like it's even worth the trip now. The Pines is really a bunch of separate buildings connected by passageways. So far, 2 buildings of the 12-15 main guest buildings and facilities have burnt down. There is still plenty left there. Besides the guest buildings, there were another 10-12 support buildings like the child care, tennis center, cabana, etc. It's a pretty neat place, even in its death.
