I'm presently hunting a buddy to go with so I don't know if it's wroth any time, but in the interim I thought I'd make you guys aware:
On Pennsylvania off of park center there's an abandoned trailer park that looks like it may be promising (if you're going down Park Center out of town you'll turn right on Pennsylvania, it's a block or two down on your left, you can't miss it).
I don't know how long it'll be explorable, so, there you go. Thought I'd let you in on it.
So if you end up going, let me know how it is. If you need better directions or someone to go with also let me know.

The one off S. Amy Ave? I work close by so I can drive by and check for druggies or squatters, or patrols, typical of many abandoned trailer parks.

Have you checked out the 3 condemned houses on the corner of Cherry and Linder?

Oops. I forgot about the one right off Pennsylvania that you were referring to.

Anyway, as of last night, it was 1/3 demolished. Almost all the trailers are stripped of their aluminum siding and windows. I wandered through a few in the front really quick. Nothing too exciting. All have the typical trash and broken furniture inside. It looked like there were still some "residents" poking around the rear of the site and the demo crew was done for the day. Some trailers on the east side (opposite of the demo crew) were still intact. There's a house close by that I'm not sure if it's part of the site. It looks like the site will be leveled by the end of the week, or early next week.

I actually went and did it last night and it wasn't bad. we hit a better site later that evening, but as far as locations in Boise go, this one was decent. If you're in the area I'd check it out. We went in the evening so I we didn't need flashlights, nobody harassed us. There's some interesting stuff for sure.
