|  | | | Go easy on me boys and girls, 1st post with photos..Woot! This is an old rendering plant in central VA that I stumbled apon by accident looking for places to offroad. Did a bit of research on it and found that it closed in the 80's due to a fire. I guess one of the tallow tanks went critical. Enjoy and please feel free to critique.

| | | | Very nice place. I have a rendering plant here in my town but I don't recall seeing a device like you have in pic 14. You asked what it was, my opinion is that its some kind of pump. You probably already know that much, but the regulator on it suggests that it is something more than just a sump pump. No telling what it was for since it's no longer connected.
