Just hit a abandoned prison Farm here in Ga. And would love some comments on some of my shots to see what can be done differently or am I doing just fine?

I'm always looking to learn and improve.

Cool place! The first is great, I keep looking at that one!

To get better:

- straighten your shots.

2nd shot: The windows draw a lot of attention to them because they're bright and run out of the shot. Try to take this shot and use the light that falls on the subject without showing the lightsource. (watch your own shadow if your using light from behind )

YEah I tried. JUST to the left of the left border was a wall that was in the way. I cropped it out and lost the leg. =( But thanks for looking =)

I find that 1 is really cool, nice work on that one.

I also like #4, I just don't know what the subject. There is "too much" going on in the picture. I think if that piece of equipment near the right edge of the picture were gone it would be a lot better.

But nice work all around.

Thanks for the input. I kind of liked the decay and the abandoned technology in the shot. From the Metal Detector to the Copier. All various levels of tecnology yet all have met the same fate.

they are kinda snap shotty, try working on your composition, concentrate on a particular subject and shoot that instead of trying to get the "whole picture" if you know what i mean. also work on your focusing these shots seem to look off balanced and blurry. keep shooting thought theses shots definitely have potential. if you have any questions feel free to pm me...
