| | | There's one place that I'm going to need to climb to gain access. The entrance on the front was accessible when I first looked, but when I checked yesterday, it had been boarded up. According to a notice on one of the sides and the front, the building, which looks to have been a bar or restaurant at some point, is undergoing asbestos abatement, so I'd probably need an appropriate breathing apparatus/mask before I can even consider going through another access point that I noticed.

Maybe back in that past life, it wasn't abandoned!
I'm a big climber, but theres not alot of good man-made stuff nearby. I'm big in bouldering though, which is good around here.

| | | I'm in the same boat as Reciprocity Failure. Not much to climb around here, that has any technical difficulty. I do some bouldering and rope climbing from time to time. I would love to apply that to UE.

| | | Im a big dude and for a while when I started exploring I said I sucked at climbing....which isnt true. I love climbing, I just can't climb fences....I can never get secure enough footholds to do it. Once I realized that I started climbing more shit, though, and boy is it fun. Roofs were always big for me, but miscellaneous high shit is good too. [last edit 10/3/2007 2:32 PM by desmet - edited 1 times]

| | | Rooftops are my specialty! There is an unique feeling associated with being up on a roof. You are up there above the world and you (and the people you might be with) are alone. I've never been on the moon, but if I had to guess you would probably get a similar feeling there. There are several ways to get onto a roof: outside, inside, and buildering. Usually you can get on a roof by taking an elevator to the top floor, finding the emergency exit staircases, and going up. If this doesn't work you may have to try getting up there from the outside, which may include some buildering (thats a good thing, buildering is tons of fun and makes standing atop the building all the more rewarding). The best rooftops are skyscrapers! They come with a bit of an adrenaline rush (which is such a great bonus for an adrenaline junkie). If anyone is going to be in Tel Aviv please contact me... the best find ever! Also, the tops of domes are particularly cool (planetariums, etc.). If you go at night and lie down on the top of the dome you won't see any of the building. If you get a chance to try it in the country side it's particularly romantic. Anyone in Atlanta? There are tons of accessible rooftops. Give me a holler.
