New Twin Cities UEer

So I just have found interest in this hobby, I am yet to do any actual explorations or anything, but I would really like to get into it. So if anyone in the Twin Cities area (Preferably Northern Twin Cities) would like a tag-along, or just someone to scout a location for them or anything, you should let me know. That would be a great motivation for me to actually get into this hobby.

Also, I had a question about those old caves on Harriet Island (I believe), I've been told all the entrances to the tunnels have been completely sealed off, but has anyone got in there?

Some girls should just be happy they were invited to the prom..

Welcome!

The caves off of Harriet Island that you spoke of have been accessible off and on over the years. You'll have to just keep checking them...or dig...

...otherwise, there are plenty of storm drains you can start off exploring. There are plenty around here. Just make sure the skies are clear before you enter... :;

Welcome!! There is an awesome group of kick-ass explorers in the TC.

Just a note to you....you will never get clear or direct help with questions on the forums. Most people are leary of giving away to much or giving info to the wrong person. You should make an effort to meet with some of the locals and get started that way. There is a site in the TC that the locals talk on and there will be a new continuation of that site occuring within a few days.

Hopefully we can get together and head out somewhere.

Do you mean a website, or an actual "site" ?

Cause both would be a great help lol...

Welcome, Max. I'd love to meet up with you sometime and go draining. As for the caves you speak of: The city pretty much bukkakes spraycrete over anything resembling a cave in that area so, yeah sorry.

Oh, ouch haha, there are a lot of other places in the area that I've heard of though, so that's good.

There's a pretty self explanatory reason why that happens...

Welcome Max. I hope you enjoy much of what the city has to offer. Be a wary explorer though, pay attention to what you're doing and where you are, and things should go all right. Also be wary of some of the people you hang out with. There's a couple bad apples in the area that are good at ruining everything.

Mouser week is normally a winter event that occurs in Jan. I think there might be another expo going on sometime soon.

for the record, we actually do explore in the twin cities, but sometimes we just like to have friendly discussions on the web. man, the weather's been so nice recently, it's fun just to go out biking.

about a year and a half ago minors were viewed a little differently than they are now. oh man... there's so much drama now.

well, my name is actually supposed to be benagain, but i messed it up and now i'm stuck with my aim screen name for two months. woo hoo.

Realistically max, nobody is going to force you to read anything. If every thread I didn't want to read on here got locked, there would be like 5 threads. Maybe.

As for the community's position on minors, I personally have no problem with them, and many others feel the same way. Age is really a stupid way to judge people, but it does make a pretty good scapegoat to avoid telling people they're banned because they're horrible.

Internet-drama or not, we're still out exploring weekends and weekdays alike.
