Summer really seems to me like a picture of a painting. It's a really unique picture. Excellent job. The rest are great as well. But summer is far and away the best.

Can you explain how you did the first one? The exposure contrast would be so great, I'm guessing you stitched two pictures together? It looks flawless.

1. Works well, but I'd tighten it up a bit. The walls on the left and right sides kind of work against things by making the room feel too boxed in. I'd lose one or two of them or even both. The barrel distortion and flare are both distracting, but that has less to do with the composition than it does the quality of your lens. Looks like it might be in need of a cleaning as well.

2. More barrel distortion problems, especially in the line of the ceiling. Could use more space below the window. The light is kind of dirty as well. It might've worked better if you could the trees more clearly. There's probably too much dead space. Avoid putting square objects in the middle of rectangles unless you have other things going on to help pick up the slack.

3. While there's technically nothing wrong with this one, I don't find anything particularly interesting about it either. Maybe a title on the book or more piss stains on the mattress might've helped? *shrug*

My first comment wasn't a joke, I've really had a dream that took place somewhere that looked just like these photos. It was the first thing that came to mind when I saw them, other than, "man, these are some great pics".

I should have just said "well done" I suppose

To Micro:

1. That's right, I maybe should remove that wall on the left side, it probably would work better then. Right wall I leave, because I think it gives, umm, bearing(?) to this picture.

Lense really should need cleaning - sadly the shit is inside of it.

2. Barrel distortion is BIG problem with my camera (Canon PowerShot S2 IS) at small places where you can't use zoom to get rid of it. That annoys me too, MUCH.

Light is surely dirty, just like it was in real life there too; the window was 3 or 4 layers, so even there are few broken windows, there were glass that weren't broken. And those glasses were VERY dirty. I think that bigger problem is those burned places on the window. Thats the thing that annoys me much.

3. Yes, this one is quite boring, but somehow I like it; book on the dirty bed.

And thanks for those REAL critiques.

I read Micro's critiques, and while he is technically correct in most cases, I like your photos how they are... rock them places with that weird lense

The dream I had was almost 6 months ago. I was in the place you had photgraphed, but there were a bunch of VIC-20s and Commodore 64s around. And I think the mob had been too, because I thought there was some kind of dirty feeling to being there.

Regardless of what I think, these photos are awesome. I've saved them and used them all as desktop wallpaper... somehow you got into my head

Ignoring the fact I'm not keen on HDR full stop the frist two seem very grainy for HDR shots. I'm not all that keen on the end result as its not to my taste.

Yesterday
All my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they're here to stay
Oh, I believe
In yesterday

Suddenly
I'm not half the man I used to be
There's a shadow hanging over me
Oh, yesterday
Came suddenly

Why she
Had to go I don't know
She wouldn't say
I said
Something wrong now I long
For yesterday

Yesterday
Love was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away
Oh, I believe
In yesterday

Why she
Had to go I don't know
She wouldn't say
I said
Something wrong now I long
For yesterday

Yesterday
Love was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away
Oh, I believe
In yesterday
