Mines!

This is my first post in this section. Here are two photos from an adventure I went on the other day. I posted smaller versions, but the rest of them can be seen on my flickr page here:
http://www.flickr....72157600394942214/

Both photos shot with dSLR Fuji S2 Pro, Nikon 17-55mm, f2.8lens. I'm just estimating, but I think these were both 30 second exposures at ISO 800, f/8.

I painted a little on this with my flash.

The first one is interesting, however it does have quite a bit of dead space toward the top of the photo.
The second is great. The holes in the center throwing light in opposite directions helps my eye to move around the photo evenly and smoothly. In general, there's just a lot to look at without the photo being too cluttered. Good job.

Kinda abstract, I guess? I dunno, but I like it.

It seemed like a good idea at the time...

These are great! Also, you can't see all the crappy spray paint, that is if this is where I think it is.

Que pasa, baby?

Yes it does. It is really a beautiful place. Let me thank you again for taking me.

From what I remember the area he was taking pictures of had allot of spray paint, to the point that I never considered taking a picture.

I'm not sure if you went into this entrance. This was taken inside the entrances at the bottom of the hill. Not to say there isn't spray paint in this one also.

it's also dark on the walls in the photo, so if there is spray paint there (i dont remember) then you can't see it anyways.

While I agree with you on the dead space, i do think with out it (i've cropped it down) it isn't as strong. I think all that blackness sets the mood.

EDIT: Here's what i'm talkin' 'bout:

That is what I meant. These pictures weren't lightpainted to the point where you could see all that crap and that is one of the reasons why I like them. We are on the same page, I think.

The crop deff. improves the shot. I actually like all three, great stuff.
