Sandford Farm charred remains

Has anyone seen the Sandford Farm at Mavis and Eglinton, Mississauga very recently? I just heard that ANOTHER fire happened in March 2007, and it is now absolutely unrestorable. Did you know, the first devastating fire happened a day before the property was to be heritage designated??? What a coincidence!! What "luck" for the developers...The brother and sister who lived there for 80 years passed away in hospital and left the place in the greediest hands. Does anyone know what is left at this moment? I know it is scheduled to be bulldozed, made into a park, with salvaged bricks to be made into some sort of memorial with a plaque. The walnut forest on the property will be preserved, unless that goes up in flames too one day, then the developers can really celebrate. I wonder if those developers are the same who own the heritage Rae house at Derry and Dixie, also recently torched. Thanks for any info.

Well I answered my own question and went there. I took these pictures if anyone's interested in the present state of the Sandford Farm. The sheds have been levelled and nothing is left behind the house where you see all dirt.

That's really unfortunate. It was never long for this word, unfortunately.
