Services suspended indefinitely

A lot of abandoned buildings in coastal Louisiana and Mississippi have
been cleaned and/or looted, to the extent that at least the first-floor
contents have been removed. This church in Buras, Louisiana appears to
have simply been left in its immediate post-Katrina state. With the
windows gone, there are certainly enough large holes in the walls for
wooden pews to simply float away. The offices and Sunday school rooms
behind the chapel were more of a chaotic jumble than this, and it took
some careful crawling around to reach the second floor. At a glance,
though, it appeared that pretty much everything was still there.

Very nice pictures. Really a sad sight though. But very nicely done.

Dumb question: Do you HDR, or filters, and if so, which ones? I can never get my sky that dark blue. I don't really care much for using HDR though; Something of a pain in the ass, and looks unnatural sometimes.

I've had good luck with a polarizing filter, but it also depends a lot on the light. I've gotten clear blue skies like that in the early morning before the sun comes on strong and everything gets weirdly contrasty.

If you're not against me, don't cross this line. If yes, do.
