What a bunch of dumb asses, that's SBC HQ.

I drink gasoline for breakfeast and beer for dinner!

And that breeze would keep the tunnel beers nice and cold.

Hey, I'm in Seoul too. This is a fascinating city to explore.

I'm in the process of uploading some photos of a demolished neighbourhood around Sindaebang area. I stumbled upon it this weekend while riding around on my scooter and for a second I thought I was in Nagasaki 1945. Keep your eyes on the photo forum.

The best place in the city for exploring is around Dongdaemoon, an old scummy market that is slowly being replaced by urban reclamation projects. Here are some pictures I took there a few years ago, where me and a friend managed to get into an abandoned building.

Hey man. I recognize your name from somewhere. . . Dave's maybe? Not that I post there, but I've read it off and on over the years.

I was talking with a Korean friend of mine last night, trying to convince him to take me to what he describes as "the last illegal housing neighbourhood" left in the city. There used to be a bunch, but most of them were trashed before the Olympics. He said it's near Gangnam, but I don't know exactly what the neighbourhood itself is called.

I read an article in KScene about this place a year and a half ago or so, but damned if I can find it archived online anywhere.

This past winter, a bunch of kinda slummy places were demolished near Hyochang Park Stn, but I didn't get the chance to check it out. They knock stuff down so fast here.

Yeah, I torment Dave's pretty often.

I'm not sure what this illegal neighbourhood could be, but it's got my curiosity.

As a matter of fact I posted some pictures of the exact same neighbourhood near Hyochang Park. I visited there two years ago so it's probably a different destroyed section. It's linked in the photo gallery section in my thread.
