OK, so today I got bored and decided to finally check out a nearby drain which used to be Brantford's Mohawk Canal. The Canal used to be a major waterway for ships traveling in the great lakes region, but hasn't been so glorious in decades. Now, half of the canal is a festering stream filled with shopping carts and discarded furniture, and the other half is underground. The underground part was what interested me.
It was fairly plain (concrete, no graffiti, grate/manhole every few hundred metres), but also fairly long. I'm not sure exactly how long (or even that it was long- my first draining trip so I had nothing to compare it to) it was, or where it went. So, to find out this, everytime I came across a grate/manhole i shouted up to get directions (never got a reply from anyone). I couldn't make it all the way to the end (I was cold, the drain was shrinking, AND it was starting to rain).
So anyways, I just want to know a) if anyone knows what I'm talking about, and b)where the drain goes.

I would kill you for a snack right now. I mean, seriously. I would end you for a cookie.
