speaking of abandoned motels

I saw this place in the DB and have been dying to see it since, so I nearly wrecked the car when I just went for a drive and it was right there on the side of the hwy. Garbage was piled knee high everywhere and I did not have hip waders with me, so interior exploration was out and these lack any real interest to me, but thought I'd share anyway.

you know you're in for a treat when you open the back door and find a piano!

Its a pretty cool building, I live just down the road from it, and I have heard rumors of a few places like that off in the sticks around here. Unfortunately the necks here have the short term memory of a retarded goldfish apperntly.

I'm itching to do a road trip S on Hwy21, thinking there should be some sweet stuff along the way.

There are quite a few buildings South. Including a pet project I am working on right now.

Nice shots I love the piano!!

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be ever at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face, The rain fall soft upon your fields, And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of his hand
