|  | | | I have been trying to research this location for sometime. So far I have learned
History: The fishing plant at New Harbour on the Blandford Peninsula was first established in 1947. Originally, it was a fish processing plant, then a seal processing plant. In 1961, it became a fully operational whale processing plant until the Federal Government of Canada’s total ban on whaling in 1972. Until its closure in 1999, the plant continued as a processing plant for herring, mackerel, salmon and squid. The plant is now abandoned.

And the door closed behind us from the wind at the same time, that was creepy. At the time it was too dark to see 10 feet into the woods lol.

Do you know how much that pellet gun would have complicated things had you got caught? It'd be the difference between a fine and jail... Not to mention you could have got yourselves shot. Congrats on wounding the pigeon too, that must have took skill in a closed room.
