Advice on Lighting

Of all the pictures I took, the ones with heavy light from the windows were the only ones I wasn't sure of. Not that these are the best shots in regards of perspective or functionality, but your input is appreciated because I can't always determine this on my own.

These are all extremely dark and could use some more shadow detail. I like 1 the best, but I would try and dodge some shadow detail out on all of them for sure. Definitely a case for bracket and blend. Nice mood though.

maybe close the apature a bit more and slow down the speed a bit?

i would probably just use PS to dodge the dark areas.

Your camera obviously was set for the values of light on the curtains. If you have an on-camera light meter, point your lens away from the window first and get exposure readings from the nearby wall. Then set up your shot.
