Weekend was when we got caught, so I can at least corroborate that part.

"See you guys, you never listen to me. I said there was gonna be trouble but you didn't listen to me. You guys are crazy. You know, you guys are self destructive. There's a funny farm and it has your names written all over it. But I'm gettin' out of here. I'm... I smell ice cream!"

Ever thought of just doing a night run at about 3:00am? That would give you plenty of time to scout entrances without the annoyance of dodging security guards.

I did after the fact but I've got the info I need. All padlocks are Medeco so that's a brick wall but three entrances have locking doorknobs with (Hopefully) 4-5 pin tumblers that are workable. SWIM just needs to obtain tools to make it work.

Nothing happened. We were outside the old building just walking around it kind of scouting for an entrance, and security came by. We walked up to meet them, and they told us that they should technically call the police, but they would just tell us to leave. They said that kids like to climb all over it and go inside, and that it wasn't safe. I guess they just thought we were curious picture-takers. So, we left. It was during the day so apparently they didn't think we were too suspicious.

Recently my photos were found by possible taggers in Olympia so they've been moved to another photobucket account. I'll share this account by PM but will not post it on UER for security reasons.

I have updated the ldb. Check the media coverage to get the skinny on whats going on with the building. I went in on a thursday in November-no problem. Looked the same as the very first time I went in, except for a few reinforced windows and doors that had made for an all too easy entrance the first time around. I have never bothered being anything but a very obvious photographer wandering around in broad daylight and haven't even been spotted by security. The new section is more frequently patrolled than the old.

Love the photos, I'm dying to get into the lower older portion, The generator or furnace was pretty interesting and open. I'll bring a camera next time wander by that area.

The newer section is patrolled pretty well. I was just kind of poking around the perimeter early today doing so scouting. Didn't take security more than a couple minutes to come by and tell me to beat it. Think I'll try the trail that follows the river from the park next time see if I can't find a way to get to the old brewey without getting stopped from that way.

Looks awsome. I am most likely moving to seattle at the end of next summer, and am totally down for checking this place out if any one is up for it.

"Government is not reason; it is not eloquence; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master."

"There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible to live without breaking laws."

Wow, 7 day waiting period. Am I Buying a Gun or something?

Anyways, I am new to this, but I have been Intrested in Urbex for quite a while, the next time you guys head out to the brewery, let me know, I might be able to go with you guys. I also am going to scout out a old factory out here in lacey, and the old "tower" in downtown oly, witch has been unoccupied for a while now. I am itching to get out and try this!

Thanks,
Delamaize
