So, I'm posting some pics from our trip to the old brewery in Tumwater, and also some from the new facility that we mistakenly went to first. I didn't get much of anything, as we didn't get into either one because we got busted by security.

New Part:

Old One:

It was fun, but would've been better if we'd gotten in. Oh well, there's always next time.

Your group covered a lot more ground than mine, next weekend we'll do a longer scout and I'll have photos to put up from the rooftop of the new brewery.

Some back history though.

After Miller stopped production of beer at the new brewery All American Bottling Company bought both facilities intending to make bottled water (Waste of a brewery man!) but it turns out AABC is a shady company that doesnt pay it's bills and the courts are in the process of seizing the property. The old brewery has been planned to be renovated to storefronts or apartments which would be nice since it's been rotting for too long.

Not sure how much info I should make public concerning security but those who've been there know, I'll just keep my lips tight since I'd hate to see this place ruined even though it's still virgin territory.

Scouting mission was successful, access was made at the distribution/bottling warehouse on the Eastern rail yard. Made our way through a long warehouse which housed a mothball truck fleet, offices, a loud ass room we were unable to access (Next to the blue tarp in LA's photos) After that we traversed the un-windowed catwalk which surrounded the pipelines for the finished beer to the long rail yard building by the train tunnel.

Photos tomorrow!

Nice work, man. You're obviously better at this than we were. xD We didn't really get a chance to look around the eastern area too much as we had a close call with security there too and decided to back out. Did you catch the truck we saw driving around at all?

Nyet, when we left we noticed that the security truck was gone so we just missed their rounds. Also, I dont think I'm any better at this than you guys, it's just we were able to do some scout work is all. Also, Leon's string bean figure was the key to entry, if it werent for that we'd have been left pissing in the wind.

Photos tomorrow for sure, I have to sleep....

I wonder if you guys got in the way we almost got in... Can't wait to see the pictures. Or to make another (successful, hopefully) venture down that way.

Ok, have at it.

http://s95.photobu..._religion/Brewery/

I apologise for some of the fuzzy photos, I havent taken many photos in drastically dark places. Seems if I highlight with my flashlight it's clearer and the flash doesnt blackout the background.

Anyway, we entered through the long distribution warehouse where a mothball fleet of vehicles is stored along with a lot of office supplies. This is the same building which has the blue tarp and loud pump room in LA's photos. At the North of the building is the nurses station, bathrooms, offices, break room & locker rooms. Also the fully lighted & windowed catwalk which leads under the bridge to the security office so we avoided that and found ourselves in the other catwalks which housed the lines which pumped finished beer to the bottling/distribution warehouse from the main brewhouse. The catwalk came to the long two story building which is next to the railways, this is where we found a tunnel which leads to the interior of the brewhouse (Which is locked, CURSES!)

As usual the entrance is not shown in the photos but nothing was forced or broken in entering, just a tight squeeze.

More photos tomorrow evening. Newest intel is that there's an active salvage crew in the buildings during the day. We found a different round/tube catwalk to a maintenance building which had obvious signs of people working. Luckily we dodged them when they left for the day but it's worth noting this site is only empty during the evening after 8pm and should be considered active. Any sign of forced entry will cause problems since the crew will surely notice it.

On a sidenote, the brewhouse is locked up tight which is the land of milk & honey for this site...

By the way, the building across the street from the brewhouse looked like shit on the backside, is it affiliated? It looked like the same building style.

The building across the road is owned by a different company but was originally part of the brewery. It was used as a storage for the beer ingredients that was you can see the flow of materials from the raw ingredients --> Brewhouse -->Bottling & Distribution Warehouse. Last I checked the other building was vacant and up for lease.

More photos.

So I can now say for sure that the security guards dont work cold nights like Sunday through Wednesday but Friday night they definitely patrol the grounds on foot and by vehicle. Avoiding the guard truck by shifting around a bridge support was the nervous way of learning this. So be aware of this if anyone goes there on the weekend.
