Nice tunnel pics! What is that yellow goo? It looks like something that once destroyed Scully's shoe.

You always hear about meeting strangers in dark alleys, but I never thought of tunnels. I was sitting here (got up too early) thinking about a guy who called himself Raticus suddenly walking out of a tunnel in front of me, and I sorta lost it. The cats were amused. And it takes a lot to amuse cats.

A guy who called himself Raticus, with a block of kiddie sidewalk chalk in his hand. Then, out pops a barefoot dude who calls himself Barry, with a sponge and some water erasing all of Raticus' marks, so now he can't get back out.

Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools speak because they have to say something.

I tried leaving a trail of bread crumbs, however the c.h.u.d.s. finding them delicious ate every last one

(maybe thats the source of the "yellow" goo)

Measures? We dont need no stinking measures!

I stay confused most of the time and sometimes I even try to get lost.

But if worse comes to worst, you can always just follow the water downhill. It always runs back downhill.

Haha. I guess that's the best way to do it, just have fun and dont worry about were you're going.

I've never seen a drain with such intense mineral formations, very cool!

Those are nothing! Ive seen stalactites in the big D ~5 feet tall....huge ones!....theres a drain called Satan's Colon in Dallas that I believe has far more formations than any other stretch of drain in the area... In a Side tunnel of that same drain there is (was?) a delicate "soda straw" thats ~1.5-2feet long if my memory serves me correct. Dallas got some decent draining.

When I first started UE stuff in the 70's, there wasn't a name for it so we called ourselves Urban Spelunkers. I made a shirt that had Urban Spelunker on the back and a "no" symbol over chud on the front. It's surprising how many people remember that movie.

I'm a blatant waste of time and resources.

I 'm old enough to have actually seen Canibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers
in the theater. Pretty dumb but the plot line survived in Mimic and others.

I'm a blatant waste of time and resources.

Wow, those pictures are great. I had no idea that you could see "cave formations" in drains.
