|  | | | Yea, that's what Roane County calls it when they rezoned and seized several property owners' land acreage off I-40 for the purpose of giving it to H.T. Hackney to build a warehouse on several years ago. Most of the land was a farm that had been in the hands of a local family for over 200 years.
Well, they've done it again, this time to the owner of Atomic Speedway, also right next to I-40 westbound. This time the land is going to Crete, a multimillion dollar trucking company that is expected to bring tons of revenue into Roane County. What are they going to do to my all-time favorite dirt oval?? Demolish it, of course! Expect some pics from me this weekend, as they've already shut it down.

There is one very significant difference between the US and Canada.. in Canada, the Queen still owns all the land. In the USA, individuals own the land.
