I have done my homework (barely) and I would like to know of anyones experiences with exploring theme parks, that are active. I am not asking for handouts like a rookie, because I have done plenty of exploring here in boston.

Thank you,
Tom

my suggestion is DON'T. unless you're nomeus. he kicks ass.

but seriously, if you're looking to explore an active theme park, take care to have enough money in the bank to bail yourself out if need be. "dumb tourist" can only go so far.

PM me if you want to get join our board and get fit!

Haven't done much, but you should find out what the employees wear, and wear something similar. Also, you should always act confident, and not like you are doing anything wrong. If you run away from everybody, you will look suspicious.

Yep.

The basics are simple, but it requires some finesse and quite a bit of confidence/acting skills:

  • Talk to employee's, do your homework about the park.
  • Look like an employee (clothes, facial hair, haircut, grooming, etc.)
  • Talk like an employee (learn the acronyms and jargon they use)
  • Always look like you know where you are going (even if you don't).
  • Don't do suspicious shit.
  • If questioned, act like you are new and lost.
  • Stop and have a snack:

  • Don't be obvious when taking pictures (keep the camera in or close to your pocket and away from anybody's view):

I thought I read somthing about them starting up the behind the scenes tour for disney again? It's not exactly cheap from whatever I remember seeing, but I just would want to get up in cinderellas castle or any other apt's that walt had hidden in the Magic Kingdom. To me it's just amazing on channels like discovery or TLC where they show all the behind the scenes stuff at Disney.

I had dinner at a hibachi restaurant last night, and I was never able to focus in on the conversation, but one guy at another table was telling his friends about the tunnels at Disney World. The bits that I was able to overhear were nothing new. I couldn't tell if he had worked there or snuck in, but he probably worked there.

you could have a cast member sign you in or you could infiltrate into the park as a whole.

There's manholes labeled "storm" all throughout most of the parks. So, if you could find an outfall into Bay Lake or the Seven Seas Lagoon, it could be pretty interesting.

I was just there teaching a class the mouse monitors sites. This day an age they do not play anymore so just watch your ass and just because a person doesn't see you doesn't mean something else didn't alert them that goes for most parks these days.I just got back from a conferance in dc the new toys coming out are very intresting at monitoring.

First do no harm because if we all werent crazy we would all be insane.

Yeah, I think the best way to infiltrate Disney would be to be hired as a cast member. While some of the thrill may be gone, it will get you a stern talking to when you would otherwise get arrested.

fuck this thread....

so many people have gone down in the tunnels. ive taken friends down there just to avoid paying park prices for food/drink.

show me the insides of the rides and ill show you mine. in fact...lets start with "whatever happened to the subs from 20,000 leagues under the sea"
