UER Forum > Archived World > Co-op Dairy and Creamery REPORT 7/2/07 (56k warning) (Viewed 169 times) Joshw  Location: Near leeds, England Gender: Male  |  Co-op Dairy and Creamery REPORT 7/2/07 (56k warning) < on 2/9/2007 5:34 PM >   Hi everyone, on wednesday we went to the old co-op creamery on the outskirts of leeds, west yorkshire, we chose the day time to visit, even though it was on a busy industrial site, as we are aware of people coming from the city centre to here to sleep on a night. we arrived at half past ten and proceeded to climb over the gate, which is chained up and has a pile of debri the other side to stop vehicle access. We soon found a few open windows and proceeded to enter, finding ourselves in a ground floor sorting area, we followed the corridor out and found ourselves in the large production area, the place was trashed, no machines left, pipework hanging from the ceiling and broken glass everywhere, also the place was covered in graffiti.. Upstairs was a similar story, extensive damage, even to the roof, more broken bottles, and 2 rooms which had evidence of people living there! we decided not to hang about much longer and ventured off to our next location... report to follow...
