| | | Baltimore anyone? < on 2/5/2007 10:27 AM >
| | | Greetings everyone, I stumbled upon this website after researching an abandoned factory I explored one weekend, and wanted to see if there is anyone nearby that knows of some good spots in the Baltimore area. We have plenty of opportunities, but im not sure how guarded some of the places are. I would love to meet up with some people sometime (maybe when its not 8 degrees outside) and do a little hunting. See ya!

| | | There is more to see in Baltimore than you could explore in a year. Where to begin.

| | | I actually think it was proven that you cannot drive in any one direction for 3 blocks without finding something off the hook to explore in Bodymore Murderland. Speaking in terms of UE and variety of abandonments, Baltimore may be the best in the nation. State Schools Sanitariums Asylums Hospitals Powerplants FActories Warehouses Grain silos Sick sick sick drains Historical opera houses and theaters All within a half-hour of each other Baltimore is the absolute shit!

| | | Im always a little hesitant about going in a few places in Baltimore, I always get images of 50 bums coming out from behind walls and attacking me. And not in a west side story kind of way. Anyone local looking to meet up sometime? Maybe when its above freezing outside

The bums are the last thing you need to worry about.

Agreed, I have not had any sticky situations (at least with non-security people) yes while out rooting around Baltimore.

| | | Why does everyone hate exploring in the cold, it is the best time to do it. You chances of not getting detected are like a million times better in sub-freezing weather. I love cold weather exploring, and I hate teh cold...go figure

| | | I spent half a day walking through Baltimore with an eFriend a few months ago, and saw more places to UE than I've seen in 6 months in Toronto. Hell, just catching the monorail from the airport to the other end I must've seen 50 promising locations. The one that most tempted me to ditch my friend and just go explore were about half a city block, *right* outside the bus station in front of Maryland Zoo, of townhouses that had been evacuated/evicted/shutdown/burntOut. They looked like they were probably home to a lot of crackheads now though, so I decided discretion was still the better part of valour, and went to the damned zoo instead.

That would be the Druid Hill park area. Not a good place to be at night. I lived near JHU for a few years and my 240 broke down right on Gwinn Falls pkwy near Druid Park drive. My friend and I almost got shot that night

Yeah me and a friend explored a place one night that was next to a bunch of townhouses and stuff. Bad looking neighborhood. We ended up getting very lost and ended up there. Some guy started chasing our car. We were lost for about an hour. We cant seem to go into the city without getting lost. Hahaha. I do wanna go to the zoo. I dont live that far from baltimore and havent been to the zoo sense I was a baby and ive never been to the aquarium. Its sad.
