Wow.. Don't the realize that if they would come here legally, they would get paid more? AND be treated better? Instead, they sneak over here for 2 dollar an hour wage and cramped apartments with 50 people living there. They can do so much better here.. All they have to do is come over legally.. it's kinda sad that they won;t do that..

Wow.
2 dollar an hour wage? Where are you living?
Here in DC they make $20-$30 an hour.
They make a lot more than $2 because they do work the gringos and brothers are unwilling (too lazy) to do.
How could they come legally?
Have you ever tried to get someone through the immigration process legally?

May i refer you to my post about the Hatch Valley in the Summer. I have picked melons, cotton, and chile, along with tons of other gringos. We aren't too lazy or proud out here.

Actually, if you are an actual Mexican National, its not that bad. There are tons of groups and individuals dedicated to helping you become a US citizen.

Now, if you are white and say, a German, good luck.

Quotas exist for a reason.
It's not fair that 15% of Mejico can pick up and come work here just because we share a border.
There are plenty of folks in Uganda, Kosovo, Nepal, and Indonesia who would work just as hard and would love the chance to live/work here - they just do not have the ability to hike through the desert/swim the river to get here.

Hm, this isn't quite taking the direction I had intended by posting.

There are lots of tunnels going between Mexico and the US that aren't filled in! :p

Get used to it. We can derail any thread, no matter how powerful!

Yeah, there are a ton of tunnels, and thats just the ones the authorities know about. Its a huge border, populated on one side by millions of broke people who want to come here, and thousands of dope smugglers who want to import product. The Mexican government doesn't give a damn about helping the US, and in some cases actually helps the illegals and smugglers. You ever get out here, I'll take you down to the border and show you tunnels, covered arroyos, and much more. It will blow your mind.

Would you venture into a drug tunnel?
To me that's tantamount to exploring a chop shop!

No matter what my opinion is on the matter, let's not let this thread degrade into an insulting or offensive discussion or I'll lock/delete it. I'm not opposed to discussing opinions of any kind, but some of them need to be done in private threads.
This one is about tunnels. I do agree with Jonsered, we can derail a thread really fast.

LOL, I totally agree. I don't think there is a square foot of Texas that 2X hasn't already been to.

I don't know about that... he hasn't (as far as I know) been in my area yet. (hint, hint)
But really, 2x has been to more places than most for sure.

I'm sure there are a few places he hasn't been, but every time I think I'm going to tell a story about a place I found, he's already been there. LOL I love to see his pics.

I usually make 2 to 4 trips to Houston each year. I fell short last year, only made it once. Wish I was going this weekend though I don't know how the weather's going to be.
