| | | 1- Great concept! The only thing i would've done, was pan the camera over to the right more, and maybe would have shot it at a higher shutter speed. 2 - This shot would be more powerful in black and white, and maybe at a small bit slower of a shutter speed. It actually may look better with your aperture open more, shot vertically, and maybe a bit closer on your subject, that way you don't have all of that stuff in the background taking you away from the subject. Overall, great concepts, but you still need some work.

| | | i second vin's crit of these images. you should keep shooting, i think that the best way to improve is to keep shooting, and keep trying new things with your camera.

| | | Stop copying off of me, jerk! Seconding what rsolimeo said. Just do multiple exposures, perspectives, and shots in general of the same subject and pick which you like, if you're not sure what to do. Just keep practicing and you'll get it down.

| | | yeah i feel a bit limited by my camera, probably because i havent figured it all out yet, ive had it almost 2 year now and i just learned it has a night shot setting. I added another shot from today at the Grand Canyon (PA)

| | | Obviously, a lot of what makes a good photo is the subject, you could have all the technical prowess in the world and still end up with mediocre shots because your subjects are dull. I'm not saying this in a mean way at all but especially in shot 2, it's rather dull. My suggestion would to be, first, straighten the photo so the horizon is level, and possibly crop to make the shot a little more interesting. If that doesn't work go back and reshoot it until you find something that does. Practice doesn't make perfect here, but it makes you a lot better. Regards, Brian

| | | I dont think the 1st is very successful because its to out of focus, but i really like the 2nd and 3rd ones. The grave stones are awsome and on the other picture the trees in the lower left corner are awsome.

It looks like very slight camera shake more than anything.

| | | Ah, the 3100. I remember that camera. The first one was good. I like your concept there. The rest were just kinda meh.
