Glass house in Maryland

Looking for information regarding a glass house that was built in the baltimore/ellicott city area, but was abandoned. Supposedly built in a rich neighborhood or something. I've seen pictures of it before, and I've just spent the past hour googling to search for pictures but I can't find any. I believe its on Gaither Farm Rd in Ellicott City.

Gaither Farm Road has some of the most expensive properties in Howard County. I doubt that anything back there would be left abandoned for any length of time, but sometimes even large properties are left unoccupied. Still, they're probably not anything you'd reasonably consider explorable.

Maybe this is the house you're talking about? It has a lot of glass sections.

that house off of gaither farm road is right around 19,000square feet and i think is valued around 4.6 million. it was originally built by some guy that won one of the insane lotteries. was only a 4 person family and they let teh architects go crazy. they didn't realize what it costs to design and build something like that, the property taxes, electricity..... so they ended up selling before they even got to live in it.

That's awful, but wouldn't you figure all of that out before starting the project?

It never works out that way, and when a client lets the architect go crazy, he does exactly that !

Funny. Someone attempted to rob the place last month. I saw that house on the news when it was reported.
